The Phenomenal Wind Poem by Asim Mahmood

The Phenomenal Wind

She is amazing as a starlit night
Breathtaking grace in her stride

Appears like a wind
Floating like a fairy
Kills with her smile
I said to the heart
‘Let's go with her another mile'

Reminds me of the legends of the past
When Cleopetra's spell would indeed last
Fresh breath of air she looks as she walks
I'm lost... in the blue sea of her beautiful scarf

She is beyond time and space
Look at her flawless grace
Seems to be the myth of a Turkish lore
She is one of the folktales I adore

Her smile can melt the mountains
Kick start a storm in the fountains

I have never had enough of her
At times, she lends moments to look at her
Her face ignites the passion
And I never lost that compassion
Look!
While she reads the poem, she is thinking of me
the blessed moment I can foresee
Her left hand playing with
the back of the front seat corner.
Saw her smiling at the thought of me
But she'd never knew...
the mole on her left cheek, I could see.

Stuff of the angels she seems to be
Can't survive her glance at me
I just love her the way she is
Can gaze at her for hours with ease

The universe seems to be moving around
As her beauty keeps me spell bound
This obsession can't be real
Seduction of dreams.. it appears.

Surrendered to the power of ‘enchantment
..with a face'
That could launch thousands of passions
..in her embrace
Your charm tells an elegant tale
But this incredible romance is bound to fail
yet it May well sail!
