The Philosopher Tiktiki Poem by Rahman Mostafiz

The Philosopher Tiktiki

That night I felt
a subliminal pain
in my brain
caused by brilliant dark
flawlessly running after
a civilized dawn
in the crowd among
frosty smarts
here and there
even in Sagarika
or in Cement Crossing Moore.

She walked there
for thousands of thousand nights
with her motion and vision alike
and came to her root again
that very moment when
she caused me a subliminal pain
in my brain.

Two animals follow her
each and every night
the 'tiktiki' is one
and the other is no fine
sort of Rahman Mostafiz
a man of my own kind.

Its me
who don’t want to see
the sunny dawn she longs for-
its me
yet who love her and
wait for the dusty dusk.

That is because the 'tiktiki'
the philosopher 'tiktiki'
taught me such.
