The Pied Piper Of Lies Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

The Pied Piper Of Lies

The pied piper
Of lies;
Such beautiful lies.

When I found that out,
Music sounded
Like static to me.
Every song on the radio
Was noise.
Every melody hummed
Was a harmful figment.

Only sirens
Appeal to me now.
