The Pigeon Calls Poem by Noel Lorenz

The Pigeon Calls

It was morning.
The birds were playing.
Coo coo coo
The pigeon calls.

Two pigeons fought each other.
Two more joined their seat.
Coo coo coo
The pigeon calls.

Two pigeons were colliding head-on,
Flapping their wings all along.
Coo coo coo
The pigeon calls.

Another came along like the holy judge,
Landed on one pigeon's back.
Coo coo coo
The pigeon calls.

Far away on a roof top was seen
A man giving food and calling Aah! Aah! ! Aahh! ! !
Coo coo coo
The pigeons calls.

They stopped fighting and flew toward the roof
Like silly best of friends.
Coo coo coo
The pigeon calls.
