The Point Poem by Howard Osborne

The Point

THE POINT

Gently, one can ease in
To that just vacated seat
And never give a reason

With that smile so sweet
Maybe just a coincidence
And no-one likes a cheat

Courtesy does make sense
Acknowledge it with grace
So as not to cause offence

Discovering a happy place
And to wipe away a tear
As all deserve some space

Try to bring some cheer
And to never disappoint
Good times are now here

Putting noses out of joint
Well whatever is the point

The Point
