The Queen Of Bahia Poem by L.B. Temuco

The Queen Of Bahia

I feel a rose open in your mouth
You are too warm to touch before dawn
I moor myself to the soft sanctuary of your belly
You are the Queen of Bahia
I lay beneath the fall of your petals
You press yourself to me like a voyage ending
