The Question Inside My Mind - Poem by Ismael Mansoor
I was asking to my mind
If my mind was the battler
If my mind was the betrayer
If my mind was the bend?
If my mind says yes that it was the battler
If my mind says yes that it was the betrayer
If my mind has its own way to mind
Was I thinking about the bend?
I asked my mind why why why
Like why do I have to keep fighting back to your impatience?
Like why do I have to keep peace for your arrogance?
Like why do I have to read you for your intelligence?
I asked my mind about the pain
If I slap my face so hard so sore you will tell me to stop pain
If I scream my voice to the air with all my strength you will tell me please calm down
If I always tell you the same thing forever, saying, do you think I like your utterly trouble mind?
