My soul attunes to the sun's blaze,
to the moon's unhurried smile,
to stars that hold their ancient councils,
to mountains keeping their deep silence,
to the syntax of stone,
to the long-rooted memory of trees,
to rivers translating stillness into song,
to oceans shedding their shores
to remember their boundless size.
I am one with this soul,
one with this flesh,
one with this heart,
one with the pulse
that trembles beneath my breast.
Do you not keep me—
not by light alone,
but by the hidden pattern beneath?
By day, I read you in brightness;
by night, I lie down
within your hush.
Sun and moon,
stars and peaks,
rivers and seas,
my body, my breath,
my beating heart—
I call them mine,
then let them pass through me,
each a thread
from the same unnamed Source,
each breathing
the same voiceless air.
Held, and holding,
breathing, and breathed,
I rest at last
within the quiet curve
of the One.
