The Rain Poem by P M MANI

The Rain

I was driving far away
And it was raining.
The sky wept, like her
Blowing nose at times.
My water wiper was on
But of no use.
Torrents and Thunder continued,
Images passing by disfiguratively
Like my thoughts
Rolling and scattered
I belonged, neither
Here nor there.
I was only steering the machine
Guiding to a safety land
Taking me away
To no man's land
