The Rain's Melody (Part -1) Poem by Amanpreet Mehra

The Rain's Melody (Part -1)

When the rain comes
It leaves us colorless
We can't see the sun
Nor is the night pleasant

Raindrops come from the sky
Drenching us with grandeur
We wouldn't sleep at night
We'd get lost in the raindrops

When our roof would get wet
The rain would steal our peace
We'd cry tears
But we'd be happy in God's will

We asked God
'Will you bring a tsunami with the rain?
Will you wash away people's homes with this tsunami?
Will I be able to feel the pain of those innocent people?
If the world ends, will you still make it rain? '
