The Reason Is...
The reason is...
The reason is why poetry is important to me
Since it completes my life
The air I breathe
Poems are the key to the soul.
I know that I may not get far and wide
But one can hope can’t they
To dream is to dream
To one promise that I keep
Is to write poems until I collapse
I am sure my invitation to the heart
Would be an honour
For this is why poetry is so important to me.
