The Reflection Speech Poem by Danielle Mari Nidea

The Reflection Speech

Rating: 3.5

Remnants of 'illusionary bell';
World stricken with Alzheimer's;
Paradoxes filling in your cerebral cortex;
Who am I to know all this?

Through your eyes I see hell
(Heaven of cakes and coffee creamers):
Conspiracy theories shared by each one vertex;
Who am I to receive your kiss?

Favored by most who force themselves -
Mercy and pity redefined.
Beautiful you say, ugly I think.
Is it you or me who is the prosecutor?

All not forgotten weren't all in shelves;
Speaking to cold you, you don't mind;
When I shut myself to you, you also blink.
Is it you or me questioning the mirror?
