The Reinvention Of The Suffering
babies are gigantic
they raze whole societies
crumble ways into dust
burn down whatever's been
long fortified and heavily defended
in the tv room with the tv on
emerge from inside our bodies and roar
prey to their side
make the world fold over
and then
final act of monstrosity
destroy themselves so brief
