Silence as the night sweeps us to bed,
Seal lips, as a burden awake us,
While we smile, they frown at our crown,
Wishing us to weep like the sky,
As our rain becomes sudden,
They never see us a mile,
As we slip, they see us their dish,
Waiting to serve with pain,
Until they say, cheers to our gloom.
