We are like a scale.
Everything having 2 sides.
One tries to outweigh the other.
Each seeking to exert its dominance.
Light & dark.
Joy & Pain.
Love & hate.
Conflict & Resolution.
One cannot exist without the other.
Each opposite defines the other.
Inside us all, we have both.
Happiness & sadness.
Peace & war.
Love & hate.
Joy & pain.
Contentment does not come from picking sides.
It comes from understanding and appreciating each in the form of compromise.
Both sides meet at the center of the scale.
This is where the balance point or contentment is found.
The center point is the only part of the scale that is always grounded.
Contentment is two becoming one, in the center.
