The Season Bright Poem by Richard Murray

What shall I do this Christmastime
To make the season bright,
To honor Christ the Savior
Born this holy night?
I will sing an advent hymn
And sing for all to hear
The plan that God has set in place
To bring His glory near.
I will set a tasty meal
With all the trimmings fair
Before those who have less than I
And burdens great to bear.
I will send a Christmas card
To someone very dear.
It may be the only card
That they receive all year.
What shall I do this Christmastime
To make the season bright,
To honor Christ the Savior,
Born this holy night?
I will rest in God alone
And all that He has done;
For He has made the season bright
By giving us His Son.
