The moment
the hidden secret of oneness
lifted its veil,
my self broke open,
its husk scattered into nothing—
no longer a drift of fragments,
but a tide of light
folded gently into the Beloved's sea,
where the stars beat like silent drums,
and the clouds whirl
in an endless zikr of dance.
Truth breathed into my marrow:
the flame that sets suns ablaze,
that hurls galaxies in their orbits,
was burning quietly in my bones.
I carried that secret fire—
the same pulse running through every orbit,
whispering in the winds of heaven,
flaring behind the path of comets,
a hidden call echoing
through the stillness of time.
I felt it between my breaths—
a silence thick as galaxies,
ringing with the unspoken Name,
spiraling through ruin and creation,
through the fall of stars,
through the birth of worlds.
I touched it in the warmth of skin,
where the veil of dust became an opening,
a lens turned inward to infinity,
to planets wheeling
in the curved script of time.
Neither divided nor apart—
no wall left between
lover and Beloved—
only the mirror:
self folded into self,
light dissolving into light,
flame into flame,
orbit into orbit,
until nothing remained
but the One.
Now I move not alone—
but as a wave in His sea,
a trembling note in His silence,
a hymn veiled in starlight,
flowing through eternal paths,
through rivers of radiance,
through seasons of veiled suns—
a breath circling endlessly,
returning home to the Source:
absolute, eternal Light—
the One whose secret
burns unceasing in me.
