The Sky Unfolds Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Sky Unfolds

The sky unfolds—
infinite blue,
silence breathing eternity.

Behind me, a nest remains:
small, woven of longing,
a soft harbor for dreams—
the mortal home's gentle sigh.

Yet beyond this earth,
a greater love surrounds:
compassion without horizon,
a mantle wrapping
every flyer and resting thing
in the sovereign embrace.

In the quiet quiver of my feathers,
love trembles—
not as fear,
but as the pulse of belonging:
a thread from heaven to heart.

A flame persists in my chest—
unseen, steadfast,
a longing streaming forth,
dancing through the forest of being,
where old branches
ignite with new fire.

I gaze at my nest and know:
it cannot hold me—
not my refuge, not my end.

Above, a voice sings—soft, clear—
calling from the unseen expanse:
O beloved,
rise into the boundless.
Awaken to vastness,
where the heart becomes heaven,
and freedom bears only love's name.

My mind grows silent—
for hours, for lifetimes—
calm weaving itself into thought.
Silence becomes a mirror,
its hush the very air
where wings unfurl,
slowly, gently—
toward a sky beyond all reaching.

I do not fly toward a destination,
nor seek a promised land;
I become the flight—
transformed by the heart's pulse,
freedom woven into every breath,
afloat in azure vastness
where only love moves.

Freedom is not to flee the nest,
but to choose—softly—
to burn in love's relentless flame,
to let shelter bow
before the gentle fire of truth.

Let me sing among the stars—
a song of unveiling—
so that in every shadowed home
no false breath remains,
and every soul,
with heart luminous,
may rise
and dwell in the infinite skies of the One.
