The Smile That Hide The Pain Poem by Sbongarh Ndulini

The Smile That Hide The Pain

THE SMILE THAT HIDE THE PAIN

All the pain not shown,
Drowning in my sorrows,
Looking for soul i could borrow,
Pain so deep like the canyon of mind,
Lost inside this soul of mine,
Hiding the pain behind this smile of mine,

The pain i cannot reveal, scars i cannot show,
A smile to hide the hurt, a heart that broken in vein,
Locked in a cage of pain and sorrows,
Suppressing these feelings in my chest,
Hide the pain behind smile, my soul crashing behind
This soul of mine need remedy for the hurt,

Someday this torment will fade away,
Stop living in despair, my soul at ease,
My smile will be real no pain hidden.
Happiness of my soul dancing with my heart,
Break free in the cage of anguish,
One day my soul will awake
