The Snow Sparkles In A Dark World Poem by Kelsey Tennant

The Snow Sparkles In A Dark World

The snow sparkles underneth the light
It dazzles my crying eyes
I try suggestfully to stop the flood
From my eyes

The stars shine high above
The dark cold planet
Where I stand

I walk home thinking of ways
To explain my life to you
But I don't think you'll listen
You've given me too many chances

I want you to understand my point of veiw
I wonder aloud if anyone can help me
But nobody answers

The snow stays slient
The streetlights flicker
The stars shine for a world with no sun

I trudge home
Wondering if you'll
Forgive me
