The Soft Cipher



A child may ask any question.
Look, mum, can I go there alone?
The little cloud is so nice,
So tiny among the grand ice-creams,
I would eat that one first, if I were on the sky so high
[The little cloud is inside a furry sheep and the
sheep is inside a white apple and the
apple is inside white teeth and the
teeth are in a glass full of milk and the, ]
oh, mum, I wish I could put my pink, wet tongue on the little cloud so nice
And I wish I had wings before I grow up.

A question may ask any child
Are you old enough now with your three children in queue for the feast?
Mum dead, dad happy among the same-aged in the House?
Are you old enough for a dark cloud,
So huge among the tiny, white sheep?
You would eat it with one bite, dear man,
your wings so wide, your jaws so saw seeming.
[The great dark cloud is outside a grey elephant with a thousand memory chips and the
elephant is outside a non-smoking sign and the
unfortunate sign is embracing a black banana]
And that’s all you are gonna have
