Upon your brow, fair virtue finds a throne,
Where my sacred love reigns in grace supreme;
A beauty rarer than the stars have known,
The living truth of every poet's dream.
I seek to bind my destiny to yours,
In holy vows that time cannot untie;
To taste the nectar that your kiss restores,
When first-night stars illuminate the sky.
Your rosy smile, a dawn within the dark,
Will lead my soul to heaven's golden gate;
Where passion kindles an eternal spark,
And weary spirits shed their earthly weight.
In that first touch, all worldly shadows flee,
To leave us One, through all eternity.
