Reading this poem, cannot help but sigh and shake head, - not meaning it is not well done. In contrast, it depicts such a vivid picture of how awful being alone - nothing around, nothing inside, no signal of life, and no signal of love - can be. Personally think, being alone physically is not horrible, what is truly unbearable is being alone mentally. And if we have faith, dreams, love, and pursuit, we can be accompanied by various friends, even though invisible, and have no time to be alone menatally.
