The Storyteller Poem by Siddharth Nair

The Storyteller

Beyond the realms of the ordinary
You strode head held high,
And today you took the last flight,
Into the infinite of the sky.

I remember all the conversations,
The laughter, the child like mirth,
Wish you break all the shackles
Of mundane death and birth.

Find peace, in what I believe
To be a far better place,
Link up with all your loved ones,
You regaled with love and grace.

For it is now God's turn to listen
To what what many came know,
A storyteller par excellence,
Time for you to take a bow.

Aptly named most would say,
As blessed were you to find,
Narayan here and Krishna there,
An honor rare amongst humankind.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My aunt, Mrs Radha Nair, wife of late Mr KPN (Narayanan) Nair, passed away this morning. An amazing conversationist, a lady well ahead of her times and a great human being.
