One day I'll walk where trees stand tall,
With bare feet touching earth through all.
I'll breathe the air, I'll feel the ground,
And leave the noise of life behind.

Beneath one tree I'll sit alone,
Where roots run deep and seeds are sown.
I'll let the breeze move through my hair,
And feel the peace that's waiting there.

Then somewhere in that quiet place,
I'll suddenly meet your watching gaze.
Our eyes will meet, and something stays—

A silent truth without a phrase.
Perhaps you'll look at me that way,
Protective, calm, with no display.
And strangely, I won't turn away...

My guarded heart may choose to stay.
I've built my walls both high and wide,
With hidden thoughts I keep inside.
I've learned that trust is not for all,
And careful hearts don't easily fall.

But with you....
Somehow, they'll disappear,
Without a struggle, without a fear.
I'll tell you thoughts I've never shared,
The hidden ones I've always spared.

No fear of judgment, no need to hide,
No masks to wear, no place to slide.
I'll speak my truth, you'll simply hear...
And somehow I'll feel safe with you near.

It won't be a crush, a restless flame,
Or some dramatic love-game.
It will feel strangely calm and true—
Like an old friend I never knew.

No chasing, no games, no tears to prove,
No storm disguised as something called love.
Just peaceful silence, honest air,
And two souls knowing they're safe there.

Maybe we'll laugh beneath that tree,
Like we've been friends eternally.
And when I leave, I'll wonder why
A stranger felt so close to I? ! !

Perhaps some meetings aren't by chance,
Perhaps some souls are meant to cross.
Not every connection comes with fire—
Some arrive quietly, like a heart's desire.

And when that day finally appears,
I'll know the wait was worth the years.
For I won't need a sign or clue...
I'll simply look at you
And know it's you.

It hasn't happened...yet.
But somewhere beyond today,
I believe our paths will find their way.
The stranger I have never met
May be the soul I somehow
Already recognise.
