The Sun Of Unity Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Sun Of Unity

The heart keeps
its silent dhikr—
a hidden beat
remembering its Source.

Here, in love's boundless caravanserai,
where souls wander through
a bazaar of longing,
my quest becomes a quiet struggle.
Meaning rises like frankincense
from forgotten chambers,
lifting the ancient dust
from the face of being.

Phantoms drift—
shadows of thought—
evaporating
through the cracked lattice
of an unwatered mind.

Then Light descends—
the very blaze
that split Mūsā's mountain—
flooding the narrow dungeon
of my trembling heart,
where You remain:
unseen,
unending,
closer than breath.

I am the hum of a bee
circling the garden of Your roses—
echoing Your song of "Be."
I am the ripple on Your sea,
gliding, dissolving,
until I become the sea-song
of Your eternal Presence.

No more chasing glimmers,
no tales poured from the tavern
of forgetfulness.

Now I see:
I am the glow—
a single ray
fused to the Sun
that mothers every sun.

This love, Beloved,
is the first breath of remembrance,
exhaled before dawn existed—
when souls were gathered,
and mine whispered Balā
into unveiled light.

Winter endures.
Separation's frost
lingers on the shattered mirror
of the world.

Yet the heart turns back
to the Sun of Unity—
not for gardens,
nor to flee the flame,
but for maʿrifah:
the wine of Tawḥīd,
the only drink
for the one who seeks You.
