The Sun Shines Poem by M G Twinkle

The Sun Shines

I'm so proud of my glowing rich tan
That's because I was raised in Jamaica
Where the sun shines most of the time,

The people are warm and friendly
especially at the church where I attend,
I feel happy to have them around,

At my school the class is painted yellow
my teacher said its the colour of the sun
When its too hot we sit outside under a tree,

We are given cool water and fruit drinks
my teacher said it keeps us hydrated,
and the sun is our Vitamin D.
