The Symphony Of Peter Pan Syndrome Poem by Zahrin Nazah

The Symphony Of Peter Pan Syndrome

Forever chasing Neverland,
Where growing up is simply optional,
Where promises dissolve like morning mist, And tomorrow is always someone else's problem.

A boy dressed in a man's reflection, Collecting praise with effortless delight.
Finding endless patience for borrowed moments,
Yet vanishing when love demands a fight.

Responsibilities are far too heavy
Until they come wrapped in admiration. Then suddenly, how gentle, how devoted...
What remarkable transformation!

Meanwhile, the smallest heartbeat: that once whispered of a future.
Became another unfinished story, Another page he never chose to write.
Some lullabies are never sung, Yet they echo for a lifetime.
So, Fly, Peter. Fly!
Wear your crown of endless tomorrows, carefree and free. But even Neverland grows silent When haunted by what could have been.

Bravo, Peter. Keep chasing the sky,
Keep believing time waits for you. But even Neverland cannot silence The echoes of what never grew.

He chases skies that never end,
Yet cannot bear the weight of dawn. And one day, when he turns for home, He'll find that home has long been gone.
