The Taste Of The Death Poem by The Power_Palace.Poet_Union.Order Sir.

The Taste Of The Death

As the wind whispers through the trees

And the leaves rustle in the breeze

I feel a chill run down my spine

For Death is coming and it's time

It's a force that we can't deny

An inevitable cycle we can't defy

No matter how hard we try

In the end, we all must die

The taste of death lingers in the air

A bittersweet taste, so hard to bear

It's the end of life, a final farewell

Leaving behind stories we can't retell

From the tiniest insect to the mightiest king

It comes for all, it's an equal thing

No riches or power can escape its grasp

Death will come, its shadow will clasp

In its embrace, we take our last breath

Leaving behind all that we've amassed

The journey of life comes to an end

And on the other side, a new one begins

The taste of death, like a bitter wine

Leaves a lingering bitterness that's divine

Taking with it our loved ones and foes

In its wake, only emptiness grows

It's a reminder of our mortality

A humbling truth, a harsh reality

No matter how much we resist

In the end, death will persist

It comes in many forms, unexpected and swift

A peaceful sleep or a painful drift

But no matter how it chooses to take

The taste of death, we all must partake

In the fields of war, on the beds of old age

Or the cradle of a newborn, a blank page

Death doesn't discriminate, it takes us all

Humbling the mighty, bringing the proud to fall

Its cycle is eternal, a never-ending dance

A constant reminder of life's fleeting chance

In its wake, we mourn and grieve

For the ones we've lost, we can't retrieve

But amidst the sorrow, a glimmer of hope

For death is not just an end, but a new scope

A chance for rebirth, a fresh start

A new beginning, a brand new heart

So let us not fear the taste of death

For it's a journey we all must tread

But let us live each moment with purpose and grace

For in the end, it's the memories we'll embrace

And when the taste of death finally comes

Let us welcome it with open arms

For it's a part of life, an inevitable fate

A cycle we can't escape

So let us cherish each moment we're given

For in the end, it's the memories that'll keep us living

And when our time comes, and we take our last breath

May we find peace in the taste of death.
