The Toll Poem by somebody else

The Toll

Rating: 5.0

When life takes its toll, and you feel tired and weak,
and cannot find the rest, you so desperately seek.
When every moment, the fatigue does increase,
and the burden of worry, will not cease.
When only troubles, will come to mind,
and the days of peace, seem so far behind.
When you haven't had hope, in a long, long while,
and just cannot find, a reason to smile.
What can you do, or where can you go,
but it is such a shame, that you do not know.

This started out as a very good poem, loved the rhyme, but the end lines were such an anti-climax, What can you do? Hold on tight. Where can you go? your imagination, you can follow. Just a thought from Tai Smiling at you
