The Truth Poem by Kim Jones

The Truth

The day that ends with the blood-red sky,
Is the day that I will simply die,
It's the day that you and I,
Will fall apart without the support of the others' eye,
On that terrible day of the blood-red sky,
I will run and you will hide,
But there will be no relief for neither you nor I,
No matter where I run and you will hide,
For you and I are doomed to lie,
Unless we both see that we will die,
If we, for any longer lie,
Then we confess our truths to the sky,
And both will be lost under indecision, but none will die.
