The Truth Poem by Kelsi Mancillas

The Truth

Rating: 4.5

I have lost all my trust for thee.
No one can give it back to me.
For I am lost in a world of hate.
And now that I think about it I cannot concentrate.
I've always said that I'm HERE.
But everyone has faded away and I cannot see whom's near.
If only you'd notice what it'd be like if you would open these wonderful eyes.
You would see that I have always tried.
I know this may be cheesy.
But when I'm around you, I feel queasy.
So if you look around who do you see?
You see everyone, but me.
So if you could try to notice that I love you.
Please tell me not every other few.
The words that have come out of my mouth, have always been true.
I am the one who has been here for you.
Never have I lied.
Only if words could express the way that I have always felt about you, I think you would be lost.
And I believe that it's not my cost.
For me love is free. There is no amount to love. No one can ever pay the worth of love.
For is to be true, clean, trustworthy, and honest. If there is one lie then it is not true.
You shall never feel ashamed of thee you are with. Never feel like you have to someone you aren't.

NO ONE CAN EVER FEEL THE WAY I DO ABOUT YOU.
BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND THAT'S THE TRUTH.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this in the 7th grade, and it went from a poem to like a letter back into a poem. It isn't that good, but it's a poem to me.
