The Truth Is Always Here Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Truth Is Always Here

The Truth is always here.
When I drive along the winding road,
It glows ahead in the horizon's light.
When I turn left or right,
It peers from hidden corners;
And when I glance behind,
It follows as a silent guardian—
Dwelling in every breath of time,
Weaving through the fabric of all directions.

The Truth is here, unwavering,
Yet I, lost in fleeting desires,
Lose sight of its quiet flame.
The seven temptations whisper,
Clothing emptiness in color,
Promising delight but delivering mirages.
I drink from shadows
And wonder why my thirst grows deeper.

The world is a mirror-house,
Filled with shimmering imitations
Of the One that cannot be copied.
Forms and faces sparkle,
As if each were the source of light,
Yet they are only fragments,
Scattered beams of the radiant Whole.

I ask in wonder—
Is it my heart that pulls them near?
Do I magnetize these shifting scenes?
No—The Truth is the magnet.
It dwells within me and beyond me,
Inhabiting every being,
Drawing my soul back to its center.

Like the tide yearning for the moon,
I am carried inexorably toward it.
Even as I stumble through illusions,
Truth waits in the silence,
Patient, unbroken, endlessly present.

The Truth is no distant traveler—
It neither arrives nor departs.
It is the current of all things,
The breath beneath my breath,
The flame unconsumed in my chest.
To resist it is to scatter;
To yield is to return home.

And so,
I let the illusions fade.
The mirrored walls lose their dazzle,
The false lures dissolve to dust.
I see the One, standing quietly,
Never absent, never apart.

The Truth is always here—
Closer than the pulse in my wrist,
Greater than the galaxies above,
Forever calling,
Forever embracing,
Forever me.
