The Ungodly Force - Poem by Alex Fischer

So many things that rule this life
Many of them come much more than twice
Many of them simply leave in a thrice
Yet a few of them stay deeply rooted in your life
Out of these few just a trifle stand out
In such a way that makes even the most stolid man shout
And out of this trifle only two stand tall
They come to you everyday
You see them in your life every way
Expressing them in every kind of say
The first is love a burning passion in fiery joy
The second is hate the inferno in the circle of time
That dwells within one's heart and mind
This is hate
This is the ungodly force

Where is hate?
Why it is all around
Around us all it does surround
Encircling us making us whole
Filling us with hate, we pay the toll
Is there hope for us with it not?
Who is to say?
How much is your heart wrought?
The wrought is fraught
The fraught is not
Yet it comes a lot
Hate dwells within you
It thrives all day and night
Hate dwells around you
It hangs in the air like a heavy load
It finds its way inside you and then it explodes
Releasing its way into the light world
Transforming it all into a world of dark
Nevermore singing lark
Hate is making this death start
And from loved ones so do we part

Hate ensues
In the never-ending blues
In a deathly time that presses
The ungodly force takes over the land
The ungodly force riddles the land with pain
The ungodly force engulfs the land with death
The ungodly force it reigns supreme
Over all living things
That do run so free
In the land of despair
Which no longer seems fair
Hate creeps through your hair
It makes you not care
About anything that breathes air

The ungodly force
When it invades you you show no remorse
It makes your voice hoarse
And makes your life course
Through the burning fires of Hell
In it you weave a spell
Through it you can not tell
What is not a threat
And what can make you bet
That one day it may leave you for dead
