The Untouchable Poem by Saniya Galeyeva

The Untouchable

Rating: 5.0

Touch my breast -
And all your thoughts will rot inside your chest.
Grasp my plaits -
And your bright brain will wither, fade away.
And do not stare
`Cause otherwise you'll see your worst nightmare.
Don't ask me questions.
I'm not a woman, nor am I a maiden.

You'll realize
What I am when I look into your eyes.
Will you survive
After the stabs of my ten thousand knives?
What kind of armours
Will save you from the clink of thorny bangles?
And will May-apples
Protect you from my sari's stuffy tangles?

It's clear that
These amulets will never work, and this cat won't jump.
So hurry up.
Move out of my way. Shut up. I'm craving for no love.
I am not affable.
I am a hungry tiger, bloody and untamable.
I am the fracturing.
I'm Kali-jee, the Sacredly Untouchable.
