The Unveiling Of The One Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Unveiling Of The One

How can there be myself and the Real Self?
How can the finite stand apart from the Infinite?
If such division seems to be,
it is born of ignorance alone.

I pray to be relieved of this duality—
of every veil that hides the Seer from the Seen,
the knower from the Known.

Let every shadow of separation fall away,
that I may see, and know, and be.

For there is only the One—
absolute, unique, without a second;
the transcendent ground of all existence,
ever-present, self-luminous, eternal,
the sole ground and substance of all that is.

In whom all beings live and move and are,
from whom all arises,
in whom all abides,
and to whom all manifests.
So all manifestation is of
the transcendent Real.
