The Vast Ocean Of Tranquility Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Vast Ocean Of Tranquility

O Lord—
may no breath pass empty
of Your love's remembrance.
In every heart,
place a gentle light
that even in silence whispers:
You are the light from which it shines.

And if someone
deems himself a king—
even then,
let a river flow within him,
carrying him onward
toward the boundless sea of love.

There, upon arrival,
may he recall the eternal secret:
that he has always been the ocean—
leaving no doubt, no suspicion,
no question, no longing—
only a bowed forehead
at the threshold of his own being,
a servant to the Self within.

For in love, there is no lord nor servant—
only the marketplace of love ablaze,
and in every form,
the lover veiled within.

O whispering breeze—
you who pass by me
so unaware—
pause sometimes, and hear
this silence within me that speaks.

This is no peace—
it is a hidden call
to tranquility.
Whoever hears it,
the heart returns
to the essence of Reality,
and the soul
lays down the burden of illusion.

The wounds in my chest—
they are no accidents;
they are windows.
Through them pours unbroken light,
light upon light,
and in every heartbeat, a voice:
"Here I am, O my Lord…"

Now I know, O Lord—
that love
is neither to gain
nor to lose.
Love is the hidden secret:
lover, beloved, and love—
are not three, but one.

When I reach
that station,
nothing remains—
neither I, nor mine—
only
the vast ocean of tranquility.
