The Veiled Eternal Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Veiled Eternal

The Real eternally veils Itself
in light and shadow,
for the Essence delights
in concealment and in quest—
a sacred play, performed
within boundless Being,
where seeker and sought
surrender their names
to the fire of unity.

It hides in the ordinary, made transparent,
in the fleeting thought
within the heart's inner chamber,
in the silent pause
between the breath drawn in
and the breath released—
awaiting not discovery,
but the soul's unending remembrance.

I wander through mirrors of multiplicity,
mistaking veils for the world,
myself for a veil,
unaware I am the One
who veiled Itself as me.

Yet nothing is truly concealed
in this ocean of being.
Distance is a phantom,
born of imagined division;
exile, a self-forged chain
within the dream of duality.

Realisation dawns
when the clamor of appearances stills,
when borrowed images vacate their throne.
The play concludes where it began—
the Real revealing
It was never absent,
only gazing into the shadows
of Its own projection.

To the eye freed from veiling,
the ear released from noise,
the tongue unbound by dividing words—
Reality stands, everywhere present,
a radiant fullness:
every atom a mirror of the Whole,
every breath a wordless hymn
to the Ever-Present,
where seeker and sought are one.
