The Venture Poem by Jeryn Bean

The Venture

There is nothing but darkness,
all around as far as the eye can see.
nothing but the sound of your heart and fears.

you sit there, in the dark, alone and afraid.
not knowing what you should do,
hide where it's safe,
or venture into the unknown.

i say, VENTURE! !
there is nothing out there that can harm you worse than your own fears.
be brave and face the world,
dont let it trap you and leave you alone.

once you venture, your fears wont seem so fearful anymore,
the darkness wont seem so dark,
your heart wont beat so loud,
but most of all, youll be in a world off warmth and light.
