The Voyage Poem by Sergio D'Amico

The Voyage

I sail the Vessel towards my soul,
beyond the land where shines my moon,
I cross the mist to fill my thoughts
with tales of legends, a beauty sought.

A tale dwells deep in every scar,
Nature circles around every star,
Closer I get to the quest I wage,
never inside did burn such rage.

From the night I reclaim my soul,
The crown you wear shall weight its toll,
Closer I get to the quest I wage,
Never inside did burn such rage.

Mischievous grin dresses my face,
oh what sins have I committed against my race.
I ram the clouds and fill the skies,
with dreams of spirits flying high.
