I watch—
Foam gathers on the lips of the sea.
The waves race,
Chasing one another,
Kissing the shore,
Then dissolving back into the deep—
Vanishing, only to rise again.
At times, they scatter on the sand,
At times, they hide in the depths,
Only to return to the surface—
This fluidity, this frenzy!
Take me too,
Into the vastness of the sea,
Into the depths where silence
Sings its melody—
Like the days of Alast.
Sandcastles,
Crowned just yesterday,
Now, clenched in the ocean's fist,
Crumble like the colors of dreams.
The sea sings—
And I listen
To a silence
That speaks the language of eternity.
This moment,
Poised on the hand of the Lord,
Is a small bud of tranquility.
Tomorrow, it will scatter
In the winds of time.
Within me,
The breath of God flows.
The sun kisses my face
And rains down in drops of mercy.
Above my sky,
Clouds thunder,
Lightning etches its script—
Everything changes.
Except for That—
Which never changes:
The Truth.
The Absolute.
