The Way Home Poem by Daniel Edward

The Way Home

caught
in the same times
where the serf
serves the landlord
pagan lives forced
into worship
and religion lies
to the ones on
a minimum wage salary
as the seas pour in
like whiskey on rocks
and carbon bonds
burn out
so no one can find
their way home
