I don't love you like fireworks —
loud, flashing, gone in seconds.
I love you like fire —
quiet,
constant,
keeping both of us warm.
I don't write your name in the stars.
I write it
in the space between my thoughts,
where only you walk barefoot.
You don't need to do anything grand.
Just breathe.
Just exist.
And the world makes more sense to me.
I've loved you in silences.
In stolen glances.
In laughs we didn't plan.
In prayers I never said aloud
but meant with all my heart.
And maybe you don't know it fully —
but you're the reason
I believe in things
I used to laugh at before.
