The Well Within
Within me
a well—
not dug by hands,
but opened by the Nameless,
deep as a garden's soul,
conduit to the sea,
axis where above
and below
remember they are one.
Fed by the tears of my reality,
and by the forgotten rain
of love and mercy I have worn
like moonlit garments,
I command both light
and darkness—
twin flames of one hidden sun—
to journey my chest,
flow through my veins,
caress my neurons,
rest upon my heart,
and return—again and again—
bearing the sweet melody
of dawn birds,
the light-and-shadow of daybreak,
and the quiet glyph of becoming,
down to my deep well,
where the unmanifest
ripples into form,
and form dissolves
back into the endless.
