The Whisper War Poem by POET SHUMUKH

The Whisper War

The whisper war
Dawn fractures upon my rooted spine in bed.
Glimmering ash peels into strips to draw nectar.
Bones in drought, bleed for a fused flash.
The everyday stem stretches, stripped of lust.
Stepping onto the thorny carpet.
Right beneath my chasm sheets.
Stone arches made me steal my stride.
The doctor says it's a deficiency of A.

Anchors of the shades of my roots
Dawn eyes echo with the scent the orchard.
North star, pulpy hugs of sunshine.
The cleansing milk of the Divine.
