The Wise Men Seek The King Poem by Doris Clore Demaree

The Wise Men Seek The King

When Jesus was born
Wise men from the East
Had just discovered a new star.

'A King is born,'
They said,
'We must go to see him.'

As the star moved
They traveled at night
Following ever westward.

'Where is the king?'
They asked as they went.
'Where is the new baby king?'

The star stopped over Bethlehem.
A new baby was there.
'It is King Jesus!' they cried.
They gave him wonderful gifts.
