The Wolf And The Moon Poem by Precious U.

The Wolf And The Moon

Rating: 4.0

In the shades of darkness a light is found,
And one embedded in it abound,
Accursed and banished to distance skies,
A hallow where nothing survives..

The lover returns with prey and gay,
And calls out his love the echoes replies,
All is gone but one remains,
Her scents embedded in his domains..

And so the trail began,
With fear and haste he led the way,
Atop the hill the trail goes cold,
His wet eyes locked her beautiful gaze..

He howled so loud the gardens bent,
The world awakened for the diamond was gone,
That unto death could not be returned,
For what is lost, is lost and gone..

And yet each night he howls out her name,
For hope surges within,   a beacon of faith,
That in due time all shall be returned,
Lost love soon regained.
