The Woman Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

The Woman

she walked
holding on to her dad's fingers,
as she grew up
upon the valley of innocence

she was named
the princess
a very precious angel
under the god's beautiful embrace.

she swam in the warm lake,
right beside the stone cottage,
where her mother,
weaved her a dress,
of dreams and godly magnificence.

and as the girl
grew to be a lady
upon the steps of eternity.

she would
look into the world
with her mighty wide heart.

she would sing
she would dance
she would play
she would fight
with her grace
and her smile.

and she would remember
and she would forget
how the days had passed
since her parents death.

a girl once,
now a lady,
in a world where,
she was no longer any fairy.

she was now as hard as stone
as soft as a tear
and as lively as a laughter
echoing through all her years.

and she would rejoice
and she would walk alone
holding onto her soul
and her freedom.

no man could
take her place
the woman she was now made,
through trials and hardships
upon this god forbidden place.
