The Yonder Of My Melancholy Poem by ANINDYA GANGULY

The Yonder Of My Melancholy

The Yonder of my Melancholy

There are days I feel safer
In the wombs of your warmth
Clustered in clams of oyster
Your words resonate in my heart.

I forged many memories
Hoping to dwell in them
When my life become mundane
Moistened by monochromatic melancholy
Shaded by gray in a grayer landscape
And I thought gray had no chromatic sense.

So, let us like in the thrills of a song
Scripted by you when you were all along
In the chills of the sand which is wet & cold
Let me melt in your whispers, brazen & bold

In the hearth of your heart
Warm like the core of snowy flake
Can I get little refuge from all my stress
The feigning world & the refraining life
Perhaps can wait, in their coitus of night.

You & I, too can quietly reconcile
In our crunchy closeted cave of silence
Under the ethereal eventide
Concocting a cosy canopy
With rhymes of chiming canaries.
