There I go, I'm falling
Into the pit of despair
I can't seem to press forward
It's just too much to bear

Your voice resounds inside my head
As my heart beats like the living dead

Why don't you just leave me alone
I would rather not feel at all
No, I cannot let you in
Quit trying to break through my wall

There I go, I'm lonely
Where once love did fill
But now I'm left empty
There's nothing left to kill

Move on, there is nothing left to take
Leave, there is nothing left to break

There I go, I'm lost
There's darkness all around
Yet there is still some hope
That one day I will be found

Deep down inside there you will find
What some have chosen to leave behind

Someone come and bring
Your love light to my door
So I can feel the warmth
Of sunshine once more
